The train station in Wokingham runs regular trains to Gatwick airport and Reading, and in under 30 minutes you can be stepping off the train in London Waterloo.

Wokingham has great road links, with the M4 less than a 5 minute drive away taking you directly into London, or to the West on the M4 to Reading, Newbury and Swindon. 

What to do nearby

Wokingham caters for a variety of people, with monthly Farmers’ Market in the town selling fresh local produce, a mixture of stalls in the General Market which trades several times a week, and many independent and high street shops, restaurants and pubs in the town centre.

For a day out, Dinton Pastures Country Park is ideally located just a 10-minute drive away, with activities and events held all year round from music and car festivals, open air cinemas and even paddleboard classes. There is also a choice of golf courses in the area, and other leisure facilities including gyms, a swimming pool, ski slope and bowling alley.

Wokingham has been undergoing exciting changes and improvements to the town centre – expected completion in 2020. With the idea of improving the shops and facilities in the town, along with new car parking and cinema, Wokingham aims to move to being a new and more modern town centre to suit the desire of many people wishing to live and visit the area.
