The next steps to your new home

Are you ready? Let's go!

Our properties often sell-out quickly, and as with most new-build homes we sell ‘off-plan’, which means you can pick your favourite property from the available plots before the homes are finished (the final mortgage and money-transfer happens when we agree a date to hand your home over to you). You’ll need to act fast and make sure you’re first in the queue.

We will work with you to secure property and start your buying journey, but you’ll need to prepare your documents and register your information.

Follow these three easy steps below to apply for your new build shared ownership home...

01. Register with Help to Buy

Make sure you’re registered with the relevant Help to Buy agency for your region here.

Once you’ve registered with Help to Buy, you’ll also need to register your interest in the property you’re interested in on the Help to Buy website.

Help to Buy is a Government-backed scheme, and local agents ensure that affordable homes are available for those that need it in their area. This means they will need to check that you pass a few criteria to make sure that shared ownership is the right option for you.

The sooner you can register with your Help to Buy agent the better, as neither you nor us, can proceed without it.

02. Complete the application form

Let us know you'll be applying for your chosen property by clicking the 'Apply Now' button on the property listing and completing the short form.

03. Check the finances

Complete a financial assessment with one of our panel of Mortgage Advisors

This is done over a short ten minute phone call with your selected Mortgage Advisors.

Your Mortgage Advisor will discuss your mortgage options and make sure the purchase is affordable for you.

They will then send your completed assessment to us on your behalf. You should hear back from one of our sales consultants within ten working days as to whether your application has been successful.

If your application is successful, before you reserve your new home you will be asked to provide a form of photo identification and proof of address - a full list of acceptable forms of ID and proof of address can be found here.

If you are applying for a Resales or Pre-owned home these steps look a little different - you can view these steps here
